General Sponsorship; Make a Cash or Material Donation:
We're accepting donations of both material and financial nature to get the first public Wilkes County disc golf course up and running. Interested in pledging to the cause? Sponsor an Entire Hole On
Wilkes County's First Public Disc Golf Course:
Sponsorships are open to any business, church, individual, team, club, group, non-profit, etc. Your hole sponsorship will contribute to:
- Disc Golf Goal Purchase for Your Particular Hole (marked with your sponsor name); approximate cost of $350 per goal for high-end disc golf target, goal sign and two goal location bases/mounting brackets.
- Disc Golf Hole Signage for Your Particular Hole (marked with your sponsor name); approximate cost of $100 per sign set and post kit.
- Disc Golf Tee Box for Your Particular Hole; approximate cost of $50 for gravel dust, a front-of-tee marker, etc. Hopefully we can get a local supplier to donate tee-fronts (landscape timbers) or simply use trees we have to cut anyway.
Any donations of material goods or discounted materials will lower our overall hole cost and any overages (excess cash) will be used to purchase further course signage, benches, trash recepticles, tables, etc. Pledge your contribution online via our contact form.
How Much Does a Hole Sponsorship Cost?
Each hole sponsorship will be offered on a first-come first-filled basis and will be awarded for any $500 (or more) donation. The hole sponsor has the option, if desired, to choose the hole number they wish to sponsor (depending upon availability).
If you wish to sponsor a hole, please use the contact form to send us your sponsorship request or go ahead and download the sponsor pledge form here and mail it in with your payment.
We also have General Sponsors who give a general (non-hole specific) donation
or a material donation that assists in setting up the new disc golf course.
Split Sponsorships Are Available: If you can't budget the entire $500 sponsorship donation, please consider a split sponsorship. Split hole sponsors do not have the option of choosing their hole (#), but benefit from sharing the sponsor cost with one (1) or two (2) other businesses. Each sponsor's name will be listed on the hole sign and goal as with the $500 sponsorships, but will share the space with their co-sponsors.
Half-Hole Sponsor Fee: $275 each (hole sponsorship is split between two sponsors)
Third-Hole Sponsor Fee: $200 each (hole sponsorship is split between three sponsors)

Want to donate materials to the club to assist in setting up our course here in Wilkes? Contact us here! We will list general sponsors in a special area of the course sign (at the 1st tee), on the website and in our marketing materials and score cards.
*Holes are sponsored on a first reserved, first filled policy. Numbers that are pledged or paid for are not available. Only those that are listed as "Available For Sponsorship" may be pledged.
°Holes that have been put on hold by the club will likely be (a) used for club marketing purposes; (b) offered at a premium at the time all others are sponsored; (c) put up for bid and awarded to the highest bider; (d) raffled off, given in a drawing or awarded as a prize in another fundraising opportunity; or (e) simply released at a later date. We reserve the right to hold these holes until a worthy use comes about or a sponsor requests one in particular as their sponsored hole.
