WCDGC's Lucky Number Seven F&W Tourney
at RamCat in Hamptonville, NC

Thanks to all who attended, played and contributed! This event had 5 businesses that contributed prizes and supplies for our 16 player field (the biggest in WCDGC history). This tourney was our first-ever canned food drive tournament! We collected at least 120 cans of food! (Actual number and weight to come soon.) The food was collected to be given to the Byrd Ridge Chrisis Center of North Wilkesboro in honor of our 7th event and our 7th month since incorpoarting. EVERY player contributed at least 7 cans of food! A HUGE thanks to Jamie Arnold for allowing us to hold our event at the ol' mighty cat (and for the CTP disc too)!

01/23/2010 - Wilkes County Disc Golfers head to Ramcat Ridge in Hamptonville, for our "Lucky 7" event - 9:47am Player's Meeting & 10:07am Tourney Start - 1 free "lucky-break" for each can of food donated; Up to 7 Cans of Food For Up to 7 Mulligans Over the 18 Hole Tourney. The donated food will be given to the Byrd Ridge Crisis Center Food Pantry (part of the Stone Mountain Baptist Association) from the Wilkes County Disc Golf Club. One entry per can goes into a drawing for a few $7 prizes. (F&W Event #7) - $7 entry
*Points are for the Wilkes County Disc Golf 2009-2010 Fall & Winter Championship. Points are accumulated through play in WCDGC tourney play. Points earned by each player in their two lowest finishes are dropped - thus allowing all players the opportunity to miss up to two events without losing championship points placement potential. Bonuses are awarded for unmissed events.

Any ties result in the same points for each player in that tied position. The next score (non-tied) will them fall into the next available place/points.
For example, players A, B & C (first 3 finishers) tie for 1st place. Each receives 100 pts and player D (4th finisher) is one stroke behind, however he/she receives the 4th place points (92).
