Wilkes County Disc Golf Course Name Game
For a $5 donation, you are offered the opportunity to possibly win a very special prize from the Wilkes Disc Golf Club, Inc. By donating, you have the opportunity to not only name the new course, but also to win a nice prize - $$$ - cash money!!
Or your company can buy the naming rights of our disc golf course.

Thinking of Wilkes County, the Wilkesboros (course located in North Wilkesboro though), disc golf and the outdoors in general, put together a name you'd like to see the course "christened" with. Submit that name to us with your cash or check donation and be sure to include your suggested name as an included note.

Each name you submit requires a $5 entry fee/donation (padded to cover PayPal fees).
Somebody Will Win.
One winner* will receive 50% of all donations taken in for this promotion. It's like one of those "half and half" drawings they always had at football and basketball games in high school (they may still have them, I just haven't been to a game in a long while).
The winner will be chosen from among all entries. A winning name will be chosen by the WCDGC board of directors with the assistance & input of the land owners. We may also open up voting on this website (WilkesDiscGolf.org) for public input to what they would like the name to be; voting on several options narrowed down by us.
Deadline for submission of your entry to name the course is <sometime in the future>.
*If multiple entries include the same (exact) name and that name is chosen as the winner, we will split the prize money between all eligible winners (submitters of that name).
Another Option... A Corporate Sponsor!?!?
Maybe your business would not only like to sponsor a hole or two, but sponsor the ENTIRE COURSE! (Hole sponsors will still be accepted for each hole - course sponsorship includes two holes and naming rights of the course, however.) If you would like the course to be named after your business, the fee is set at $5,000. The name must be a corporate name and we limit the course sponsorship to only certain businesses – we retain the right to refuse those that may offend, put-off or upset any players, members, land-owners or fellow Wilkes County citizens.
These naming rights are for a term of 6 years (two hole sponsor terms) and the rights may be simply renewed, readjusted, repriced, removed or transfered at that time. Naming rights may not be sold. Only at the end of a term or as negotiated with the WCDGC will the rights be able to be transferred from one party to another and only then at an agreeable amount paid to WCDGC.
In the event we receive a corporate sponsor, all "Name the course" entry fees will be returned with a 100% bonus... your $5 becomes $10.44 (we'll even give you the postage back). So, EVERYBODY WINS!!!
